Just recently on 90 Day: The Single Life, Debbie Johnson announced that she is moving to Canada to be with her new boyfriend, Tony. When she broke the news to her son, Colt Johnson, he was shocked. He already told her that he feels as if they are moving too quickly, but she is set in her ways when it comes to love.
90 Day: The Single Life – Colt’s Reaction
When Debbie was getting ready to tell Colt about the move, she was pretty stressed. She told the cameras, “I am so stressed because Colt is very unpredictable. And also, I have not seen Vanessa since she decided to move out. She thinks I’m interfering in their relationship, so things could get really ugly.”
90 Day: The Single Life – Colt Johnson Worried About Relationship With Debbie Johnson
Tony and Debbie end up meeting Colt and Vanessa at a restaurant and that is when they got to meet Tony for the first time. Colt told the cameras, “My mother doesn’t like to listen to me. She thinks she knows best, but it’s very important for me that she at least doesn’t make a mistake.”
Tony told Colt that “we feel like we’ve known each other forever. We love each other. I don’t know how to explain it, but we do.” Vanessa then asks what makes Tony so perfect for Debbie. Debbie says, “Everything. He’s the calm one and I’m, you know, crazy. And he loves me.”
Colt then asks Tony, “Would you say you love my mother, Tony?” Tony tells him, “It’s funny when you meet somebody and you get along instantly and you can literally talk about anything, and we’ve always gotten along. It’s just something, you know.”
Debbie then drops it on Colt and Vanessa that the day after was her last day in the states. Colt asks her how long she is going to stay in Canada and she tells him, “Forever. We believe in destiny. It was destiny when I met your dad. That was definitely destiny. And this was destiny too.”
Colt didn’t seem too happy about the move and told the cameras, “I don’t really have a frame of reference for the type of man that my mother should date or be interested in only my father, and let me tell you, Tony is definitely not my father. I didn’t think she’d move so quickly with Tony, but now with the distance between us, I’m afraid my mother and I will never have a better relationship.”
Will Colt come to resent her move to Canada? Find out on 90 Day: The Single Life on TLC.
