Real Housewives of Beverly Hills: Teddi Mellencamp Undergoes Surgery To Remove Her Melanomas
This is a form of skin cancer which is why the former star of the ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ decided to take immediate action. And as part of that process, Teddi discovered that she had some issues after having had her skin checked every three months.
This did result in her having had a mole taken out form her back, which allegedly appeared to be melanoma. With that being said, Teddi gave her fans an update on the state of her health.
In a post to her fans on Instagram, she shared a series of pictures of herself which showed her in hospital, as well as the area where the skin had been affected. The post was captioned by the following comments: “I had surgery. I had melanomas removed.
“I had lymph nodes that lit up so they were also removed and additional biopsies are being done. Hopefully I will get those results soon.” This has understandably been a very difficult time for those around her too.
Teddi’s husband, Edwin Arroyave, has been a constant source of support, which has no doubt aided her recovery. And yet, given that Teddi is not out of the woods just yet, the star has vowed to continue fighting on until she gets back to her usual self.
Her following comments confirmed as much: “I just know I am going to kick this cancer’s a**- with the help of my incredible doctors and nurses of course.” The fans on social media came out in full support of Teddi.
And in the process of doing so, they wished her the best with her recovery moving forward. One person wrote: “Omg so scary and so proud of your strength and candour. Hope, Faith and Will combined with Medical Treatments Can and Will Put You In Remission- stay strong love you!”
