The rapper caused a huge uproar when he vowed to go ‘def con 3’ on Jewish people, which resulted in him being canceled by a variety of brands who decided to dissociate themselves from the star. This included none other than Balenciaga and JP Morgan.

But for all the companies that may be looking to move away from cooperating with Kanye, the fact of the matter is that he could not be any more relaxed about the whole situation.

In an interview with TMZ, he said: “I ain’t losing no money. The day I was taken off the Balenciaga site, that was one of the most freeing days.” Those comments do hold some wait for the following reasons.

First of all, it provides Kanye with an opportunity to have more creative control moving forward. After all, he has spoken in the past about how he felt he was not being treated in a manner that was appropriate by Adidas. So much so that he even went as far as to state that the company had ‘raped’ his designs.

Secondly, it does generate some headlines that keep Kanye relevant, even if he does end up alienating some people with his choice of words. He added: “We here, baby, we ain’t going nowhere. It’s going to take all of us to come together.

“We gotta get the truth before we can get the love if not we are just loving the lies.” The fans on social media, however, made their position very clear. A certain subset of people felt that Kanye’s comments were becoming inflammatory to the point where it could result in further turmoil.

One person wrote: “Anybody giving this cruel hater a platform is complicit.” Time will tell if there are any further ramifications for Kanye. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
