Actress Julia Roberts has given her sage advice on what keeps a marriage lasting long.
Julia Roberts Reveals Making Out Is The Key To A Successful Marriage
The Hollywood star has been married on 2 occasions which does give her some credibility to talk about the matter. Her first marriage with Lyle Lovett only lasted 2 years as they parted ways in 1995. However, after having taken some time out, she walked down the aisle with none other than Daniel Moder in 2002.
And ever since that moment, their relationship has gone from strength to strength as they have remained married for 2 decades. During the course of that process, they have managed to raise three children together: Phinneas, Hazel and Henry. With that being said, Julia gave her secret on maintaining a healthy marriage.
In her comments, she said: “I always say that same thing and I’m sticking with it. It’s making out. Lots of making out. I make out with Danny, too. It keeps you guys together.”
While she is happily with Daniel, one relationship that did not materialise was a romance with George Clooney. The two have worked extensively together on many movies, as well as having been friends for a long time.
But the circumstances were simply not there for a romance to emerge, as the two just became very good friends over a period of time. In some prior comments, George stated: “Julia was always in a relationship, or I was in a relationship. And we were fast friends right away. So it was nothing.”
The fans on social media did not have a lot of time for Julia. This was simply on the basis that they felt her intimate life should not have been disclosed to the public in this manner. And in any event, there were always other factors to a happy marriage.
