JoJo Siwa marvelled at Jenna Dewan for helping her to come to the realisation that she was gay.Â
JoJo Siwa Praises Jenna Dewan In Her Coming Out Journey
JoJo, for her part, made the decision to come out at the beginning of 2021. During the course of that process, she wore a t-shirt as a testament to that fact. Subsequently, thereafter, she ended up in a relationship with Kylie Prew.
Things did not work out between the pair, but JoJo has now managed to find herself in a relationship with Avery Cyrus. But looking back, Jenna may have played a crucial role in JoJo coming out.
This was on the basis of Jenna’s appearance and performance on ‘Lip Sync Battle.’ In a post on TikTok, JoJo said: “She did a really great ‘Magic Mike’ number. Pretty much watched it every day/ Little me, she didn’t know she was gay.”
Those comments were endorsed by Jenna, who subsequently decided to do a duet with JoJo’s video on the same platform. Jenna is someone who is not gay, and yet, she may have helped JoJo come to terms with the struggles that can emerge when someone comes out.Â
And in order to show that she was grateful for being mentioned, Jenna took some time out to thank JoJo for her kind words. Jenna’s following comments confirmed as much: “JoJo i have never been more honored…!!”
The fans on social media had a lot to say about the matter. A significant proportion of a fanbase looked back at Jenna’s performance on the show with a lot of fond memories.
And in the process, the comments were very positive indeed. One person wrote: “Jenna was absolute fire on that show,” while another person stated: “Your performance is really the best ever!”
It is fair to say that JoJo and Jenna have managed to forge a good friendship out of their shared experiences. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.Â
