James Corden has spoken out against the recent controversy surrounding his apparent abusive behaviour at restaurant owner Keith McNally’s establishment.

According to reports, Corden was banned from his establishment after claims that he had been abusive after allegedly finding a hair in his food, as well as being outraged that his wife’s food was not made correctly.
While that may have been the case, the ban was subsequently overturned after Corden had apparently apologised. But things were not made easier when Corden had initially stated that he felt he had done ‘nothing wrong.’
That caused Keith to come out fighting by demanding that Corden own up to his actions, which has now led to his following words. In his comments, Corden said: “Never complain, never explain’ is very much my motto.
“But as my dad pointed out to me on Saturday, he said, ‘Son, well you did complain, so you might need to explain.’” With that being said, Corden began to explain his comments. He expanded on how he was taken aback by the fact that there had been some backlash towards his behaviour.
This was on the basis that he did not shout or use any expletives towards the staff. But given that he did say something in a sarcastic manner, that has now led to the realization that he may have offended the staff.
James’ following comments confirmed as much: “Because I didn’t shout or scream, like I didn’t get up out of my seat, I didn’t call anyone names or used derogatory language, I’ve been walking around thinking that I hadn’t done anything wrong. But the truth is… I made a rude, rude comment.”
The fans on social media, though, were not convinced by his explanation. This was on the basis that it was done in an attempt to save face. As such, people questioned the authenticity of his comments. One person wrote: “Fat British jerk off.”
