Things are getting interesting in Genoa City, and CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers are all set to ready ourselves for some more surprises.
If there’s one thing we’ve learned about Genoa City, it’s that there’s a lot of overhype. This looks like it’s going to be one of those episodes as it’s more of a character building one, but it’ll also have a couple of interesting moments.
Let’s dig in and see what seeds we have.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For October 4: Victor’s got a plan in place
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is usually one step ahead of everyone with a god-like ability to see every situation coming.
It’s made for some boring television over the last few years, and chances are that’s going to continue with this storyline.
Since he hasn’t been embroiled with anyone lately, we can only assume he’s going to outsmart Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) by way of knowing he’s the one Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) learned was with Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters).
At least, it makes sense since he’s usually good at putting these things together, then doing nothing until he can swoop in and become the hero.
Though this time it may not be as easy as he thinks.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For October 4: Talking strategies
With Chancellor-Winters going public soon, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) are going to put their heads together to come up with a plan of attack.
Victoria’s been through a few corporate battles, and this will be a great time for Nate to learn from one of the best.
While ‘Young and the Restless’ expect him to remain fully sold on his idea to win his family over by shafting them, he may mess things up by wanting to go off script.
We don’t think he will as he’ll agree with Victoria’s aggressive approach and he may start mimicking her.
“The Young and the Restless” Spoilers: Surprise hire
This is going to be an interesting move as Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will announce a new hire for Chancellor-Winters, and it’s going to surprise a lot of people.
Esther Valentine (Kate Linder) will take her place with the Chancellor-Winters family, though we can’t think of a position for her.
It could be anything from a high exec to working PR or some other department. Given the show has been throwing people into roles they’ve never done before, it wouldn’t surprise us in the least if it’s a position she’s going to learn on the run
What position do you think Esther was hired for? Let us know below and check back with ‘Young and the Restless’ for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation around.
