She didn’t want anything to compromise it, but when he goes in to see his attorney, he was struck with some tough news. There is an ongoing investigation about him and this could cause some issues with him getting his renewal.

When Redditors saw this scene, they were shocked at how it could happen, but then started developing some theories of their own as to who threw him under the bus. Many of the comments made it clear that they thought Libby’s brother, Charlie Potthast, or one of her sisters. When Libby brought it up, they laughed and joked about how they hoped his green card wouldn’t get renewed.

One Redditor wrote, “It wasn’t her family. The producers threw this in to make them ‘interesting.'” Another mentioned that it is a scripted show and that this is all part of it. They even claim that they thought his attorney was an actor paid by TLC. They added, “Advertising for the attorney’s office too. So, she probably agreed to do the scene with him for clout/new clients.”

For those who have watched the show for many seasons, we all know that a green card interview happens and it’s not too much to be upset about, but it has been a constant issue on the show before.

This is all part of the show and one Redditor wrote, “Andrei is going to get his Green Card after a 10-minute interview, that TLC will make it look like it took 3 hours.” We saw Yara Zaya and Jovi Dufren go through the same thing and as nervous as they were, it didn’t take long at all.

Most fans feel that this will be resolved very quickly and that TLC will drag it on for ratings.
