’90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After’ Spoilers: The Engagement News

Ed and Liz have been ramping up for their engagement party and Liz wanted to give Ed a chance to make a good impression on her family members. They meet up with her grandparents at the boardwalk and they were very shocked to see how much older than her Ed is. Ed is 57 years old and she is 29.

’90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After’ Spoilers: Elizabeth Wood’s Grandparents Question Her Relationship With Ed Brown

When they are sitting down together, Liz’s grandmother asks Ed, “Are you marrying her because you really, really, really love her? Or is it because she makes you feel young?” Ed tells her, “I’m marrying her ’cause I really, really love her. I can’t live without her.”

Her grandfather then asks, “Are you positive about that? I’ve heard that remark once before.” Ed continued to tell them, “She’s my forever. She is a pain in the butt, but so I am. But, she’s who I want to be with. She does make me feel young, but that’s not why I’m marrying her. I’m going to love her and take care of her for the rest of her life.”

After they got a better chance to meet Ed and chat with him, they wanted to get a chance to talk to Liz about her feelings for Ed. Their biggest concern is his age. They tell her, “Your age difference. Him being that much older than you, are you willing to take care of him when he’s not able to?”

Liz then told them, “It’s already crossed my mind multiple times. Not so much as taking care of him, but so much as, like, I’m scared to lose him- ’cause he’s older. But yeah. I would take care of him.” Liz’s grandmother admits that when she wanted to get married the world was against them too. She adds, “Just like them, and we made it.”

Hopefully, Liz’s grandparents can see that she does love Ed and she is ready to spend forever with him. We will have to wait and see what the other family members think.

Be sure to catch Ed and Liz on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After. The show airs on Sunday nights at 8 p.m. EST on TLC.
