Tiffany Haddish claims she hasn’t had a job since being accused of molestation, despite the fact that the molestation claim was rejected in a lawsuit. The comedian/actor was asked about Jane Doe retracting her claim that Haddish and Aries Spears forced her and her brother into inappropriate sexual skits when they were kids and her subsequent about-face.
Although it could be seen as clearing her name, it doesn’t appear that it did because she says that she has lost everything as a result of this. When another photographer inquired about her feelings following the conclusion of the saga, she responded that she was relieved, pointing out that her main worries here were the actual accuser and her brother.
Tiffany Haddish Claims She Lost A Lot Of Work Over Molestation Accusations
As for Aries, Tiffany is obviously putting some distance between them by claiming that she no longer speaks for him and that she is no longer affiliated with him. She appears defiant when the photographer asks if she worries that more people will make accusations against her, telling him that anything they may say is untrue.
Haddish wrote on Instagram, “I know people have a bunch of questions. I get it. I’m right there with you. Unfortunately, because there is an ongoing legal case, there’s very little that I can say right now. But, clearly, while this sketch was intended to be comedic, it wasn’t funny at all – and I deeply regret having agreed to act in it. I really look forward to being able to share a lot more about this situation as soon as I can.”
Remember that Tiffany and Aries were charged with casting these children in two filmed sketches: one where Tiffany allegedly had the girl imitate fellatio on a sandwich and another where her brother was allegedly the object of a pedophile’s fantasy, played by Aries. Tiffany initially denied it, calling it a shakedown; however, she later expressed regret for her part in it.
What do you think? Should Haddish and Spears still be on the hook for performing in the sketch or was it right for the charges to be dropped? Let us know in the comments below.
