‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that in a preview for next week, we see the inevitable happen with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope)! In the clip we see the two of them passionately going at it in the office on the couch.
However, while we see the two of them going at it, some viewers think that it could be a classic bait-and-switch dream sequence and it is just what Sally or Nick is imagining would happen. They just did it recently with Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) kissing Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman)!

Fans reacted to the preview saying, “Another y&r dream scene. Exactly like when diane dreamed of kissing Jack. NEW WRITERS PLEASE”, “Come on Nick, hit something your brother hasn’t for once. Besides Ashland I mean.”, “I knew the writers were gonna do this. I dis not want them together…besides Sharon Newman, Nick is always given Adam’s sloppy seconds, Chelsea, the. SAGE NOW SALLY…These writers are dumb… Nick is is and always has been so handsome, kind, and can be A Hard Ass when needed…Why writers are you doing this…” and “I knew they were going to put Sally and Nick together.”
I like to think that this is Adam Newman‘s (Mark Grossman) imagination running rampant and thinking of the worst-case scenario before he opens the door. However, when he does, he’ll see his brother and Sally simply standing there talking about business much to her relief.
Nick and Adam have swapped enough women I think, and I don’t think the writers would want to ruin the possible power couple of Sally and Adam with some meaningly fling. Thankfully for Adam, he has nothing to worry about.
