‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) hand may soon be being held by a new date! Could he forgive Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) for her past and ask her out on a real date? There might be a chance, in my opinion.

It seems obvious that there may be more to Jack’s recent extreme politeness toward Diane than just being Mr. Niceguy. Even Kyle Abbott, their son (Michael Mealor), has noticed that Diane and Kyle have become increasingly close.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Is Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) Going To Ask Out Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters)?

Everyone is obviously worried about Diane, which makes sense given her past, but let’s be real for a second. Does Diane really have a worse record than Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford)? In spite of Phyllis and Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) attempts to paint Diane as the anti-Christ and play the victim, take a look at their track record.

Mostly because I like the actress, but also because who doesn’t love a comeback story, I’ve kind of been rooting for Diane. She adds an interesting dynamic to the show. She’s been doing great reestablishing contact with her son, and it now appears that Jack may be paying her attention once more!

I genuinely support this relationship and hope that it continues. Jack must simply disregard the opinions of others and follow his heart. Because of their vengeful nature and ongoing attempts to bring Diane down, Nikki and Phyllis are going to look like fools.

Jack needs a healthy relationship, and while some viewers might find it offensive that it might involve Diane, I’m rooting for them. Go for it regardless of what anyone else thinks or says, and hopefully, Diane stays a good person because if all of this is for nothing, it’s going to be a hard fall.
