‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) Past Comes Back To Haunt Her

‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers find that in spite of Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) and Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) relentless harassment, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) has been able to return to Genoa City relatively unharmed.

After all these years, Diane has been able to rekindle her relationship with her son Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), and she has even hinted at a potential romance with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). However, some people are concerned that Diane’s past will catch up with her.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) Past Comes Back To Haunt Her

Many people believe that Talia Morgan (Natalie Morales), who is currently in town and doing some snooping, will actually be able to find something on Diane that she believed she had left behind in Los Angeles. She has been stumbling around the city while claiming to be looking into Ashland Locke’s (Robert Newman) death, but I think we all know better.

We believe that Talia has made contact and that they will soon be contacting Diane with some news after not only discovering a connection to her past but also by doing so. This might bring up our next point regarding the mystery casting! It has been announced that ‘One Live To Live’ veteran Trevor St. John will be coming to Genoa City this fall. He is best known for his 10-year run as Tod Manning/Victor Lord Jr. but will be coming to Y&R in a secret role. Is this the mystery person from Diane’s past that will be reaching out?

We believe Talia will be looking for information about Diane when she comes across this unknown person. Terrified, they will message Diane frantically about what is happening before traveling to Genoa City. Or, to make matters worse, perhaps Diane did him wrong in the past and he will want to seek retribution by returning!

The only issue at that point will be to whom will Diane flee? At that point, can she still trust Jack enough to not have him quickly turn her in as she “returns to her old ways”? Since Diane and Jack have been in my thoughts a lot lately, I kind of hope that this won’t be bad news for her.
