‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that the young heart of the show for the past few years has been Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman (Allison Lanier), and their relationship has grown before our eyes. They have been able to maintain their relationship despite disagreements and misunderstandings with Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) and Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson).
Even after Kyle learned that Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) is the mother of his child and the drama that ensued with Ashland Locke (Robert Newman), they persisted in their commitment to one another and developed into one of the best couples on the program. However, some viewers have recently grown tired of their stories.
‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Are Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) And Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) Getting Boring In Their Happiness?
Even after Mealor left the show and Hunter King was replaced by Allison Lanier, people continued to love Summer and Kyle because they were a fan favorite and a couple that everyone adored. However, since there hasn’t been any conflict or back and forth, it seems like their relationship might be becoming a little stale.
Even the possibility of Kyle proposing to Summer once more has been discussed. Not only does it seem premature, but are these the only anecdotes about this wonderful couple they have to offer? Since they have been put on the back burner a bit and don’t seem to have anything exciting going on, we just hope that something happens. There have been rumors of everything from a breakup to a new baby on the way.
Ironically, while viewers of soap operas want their favorite characters to simply be happy and together, they quickly turn against them when there is conflict. It is frustrating to realize that you cannot have the best of both worlds, and I am equally guilty of doing this.
