The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers show that people are taking sides in the custody dispute over Douglas Forrester (Django Ferri). There has never been a clearer division between the Forresters and the Logans, and it’s almost perfect how they have done it.
Although it has been between Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) and Hope Logan (Annika Noelle), I believe we need to take a moment to consider Thomas’ suitability as a full-time parent before making a decision. He was sneaking around people’s houses not too long ago and falling in love with a doll.

During an interview with TV Insider, Atkinson responded about what it was like working with a child actor and how Thomas has not been the easiest father in the world, “Yes. As an actor, it’s important to be as empathetic a person as possible. You have to be able to empathize with your character. When you’re playing “mean” to a child, it triggers every protective [feeling] within me. That was very hard. I had to cultivate an environment with Henry [Joseph Samiri, who played Douglas at the time] where we played around and I made sure that he felt comfortable with me doing those things — that they were make-believe.”
Atkinson continued on in the same interview to say that he believes Thomas can win this custody battle and he won’t give up his son, “I think he’s got good ground to stand on. It doesn’t make sense for Thomas to give his son up to another family. Hope’s the mother, but that doesn’t mean that Hope and Liam are the [only] parents. A lot will depend on how much Hope fights back.”
Although the conflict will continue, Atkinson believes he already has the upper hand. Given that Thomas is not going to give up, perhaps we should be more concerned for Hope and the other Logan family members.
