It’s been a long road for Chad. ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal that road to finding Abigail Deveraux’s (Marci Miller) killer has been a twisted one, full of false starts. Not to mention an increasing level of mental instability in Chad! But it’s hard to blame him when so many leads turned out to be wrong.
Finally, though, it looks like he might have learned who killed Abigail. Sonny mentioned smelling vanilla before his attack. So, when Chad smelled the same scent on Craig Wesley (Kevin Spirtas), you could see the dots connecting. We assume the follow-up to that cliffhanger is going to get ugly. Chad hasn’t been known to deal with potential suspects in the most rational way, and we think this time will be especially bad. This time, his potential target isn’t already in the custody of the Salem PD! Not that it makes any difference, we suppose. Just ask Orpheus (George DelHoyo).

Elsewhere, it seems Sonny lashes out at Alex, as he feels his brother betrayed him. We guess Sonny won’t be happy about his brother being in charge while he’s gone. Especially if he hears about the drink Alex and Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) shared a drink to celebrate a business success. He’d specifically asked Alex to back off, so this will surely not make him happy.

In other ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers, Jennifer is caught in the act. By that, we assume someone else is going to catch her with those pills. Since she was last seen with Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford), we can’t help but wonder if he’s the next one to find out her secret. We think there’s a strong chance that, no matter who it is, there will be a fight. And it’s possible that’s what will lead to that crash in the fall preview video.

Finally, Craig and Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) cross paths. Given Leo was being led into custody last we saw him, we assume Craig will just happen to be nearby. And we can just imagine how Leo is going to react, given he’s convinced Craig set him up. But can he (and Chad) convince Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) of this? We’ll see.
