CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers are set to kick off a new week in style, and it looks like we’re in for a character building episode with a possible twist or two.
Keeping secrets are pretty standard on daytime television, but rarely are they entertaining to watch. Most times, it’s dark hints and the promise of drama to come, but the show could be taking a different angle with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope).
Of course, there’s more than the two of them in Genoa City, so let’s dive in and see what else is knocking about.

‘Young and the Restless’ were sure Nick and Sally were going to be found out by Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), but now it looks like that’ll come later.
Right now, they’re trying to hide their affair from Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) as he’s trying his hardest to get back with Sally.
This has potential to be an entertaining storyline depending on how it’s handled, and so far it looks like Nick and Sally are going to fumble their way through it as they try to act like nothing’s happening.
Their lies will be shallow and we expect Adam to see through their lies no matter how hard they try to hide things.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For September 19: New proposal
Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor)’s been busy lately, and it looks like he’s going to have a new idea to run past Summer Newman (Alison Lanier).
This could be anything from plans to get away to a new business proposition or idea for Marchetti.
It could involve their mothers and how they can get them to work together without getting into some altercation or other.
One of the topics they could discuss will be the files on Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters)’s computer and how to prevent someone from planting something like that in the future.
But instead, it looks like Kyle will ask her to marry him again. Wonder how long this one will last?
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For September 19: Diane’s turn
Speaking of Diane, it looks like she’s going to gain a measure of revenge on Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) for planting the files on her computer.
We’re curious what Diane will have planned, but we’re sure it’s going to be fun watching Phyllis stumble into her trap and try to dig her way out of it.
We expect it to be more clever than what Phyllis did, assuming it was Phyllis. But Diane’s been pretty even keeled so far and given no reason to doubt her yet.
