Kate Middleton Reveals Prince Louis Is Struggling With Queen Elizabeth II's Death

Kate Middleton has revealed that her son, Prince Louis, is struggling to get his head around the death of his great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.

This is entirely understandable, especially since Louis is only 4-years-old. Unlike his siblings Prince George and Princess Charlotte, he was not at the late monarch’s funeral. After all, Kate has to do what is best for her children.

And with Louis being so young, it was not appropriate for him to attend. During an intimate conversation with Australia’s Governor-General David Hurley, the latter recalled what Kate said about Louis.

He stated: “[David recalled Kate saying], The younger one is now asking questions like, ‘Do you think we can still play these games when we go to Balmoral [Castle in Scotland] and things like that, because she’s not going to be there?'”

As for Prince George, though, he is 9-years-old. And he was mentioned by David in a positive way. He expanded on how George is fully aware of the role that the late monarch had played.

As such, this explains why he was one of the people chosen to attend the funeral. Not only that, but he and Charlotte have experience of doing a similar thing as they were part of the late Prince Philip’s memorial service.

The fans on social media were not surprised that Louis would have been struggling to fathom what has been going on. After all, given that he had also recently started a new school during Queen’s Elizabeth’s passing by attending Lambrook School, it was normal for him to be overwhelmed.

One person wrote: “I mean, yeah, he’s 4. I imagine most kids don’t understand death at that age.” Ultimately, there is no easy way of explaining what happened. But Louis has a massive support network by his side to make sure that he is in a good place.

And that is the most important thing. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below. If you liked reading this article, then check out our other features on the Daily Soap Dish.
