FOX “Monarch” Spoilers are set for the new FOX series “Monarch” premiers tonight (9/11) at 8 pm EST and it looks like a fun show with some awesome potential as it follows the Reigning King of Country Music Albie Roman (Trace Atkins) and his wife, Queen of Country Music Dottie Cantrell Roman (Susan Sarandon).

Together, they’ve created a country music dynasty that isn’t what it appears to be.

The foundation for their dynasty is built on lies that remain hidden behind the Roman name that’s synonymous with authenticity.

When Dottie steps aside, cracks begin to show as it’s revealed Albie’s an icon in the business but he hasn’t had a hit in over ten years.

Fox “Monarch” Spoilers: Time for new blood?

With their dynasty showing signs of coming apart, Albie and Dottie’s daughter, Nicolette “Nicky” Roman (Anna Friel) steps up to fill her mom’s shoes despite doubts and challenges from her sister Gigi Taylor-Roman (Beth Ditto).

Nicky’s drive isn’t completely altruistic as she also views this as a way to enhance her career and launch her into super stardom, but as a Roman she may learn the name comes with more baggage than she expects.

While Dottie seems content to pass her crown to Nicky, FOX “Monarch” Spoilers expect that she’ll warn her that the pressure of wearing the crown is intense.

Adding to the mix and the sister’s plight is their brother Luke Roman (Joshua Sasse) who is the family’s CEO of their company, and it looks like he’s going to be more focused on profits and numbers than the human part, and that’ll lead him into conflict with Albie.

FOX “Monarch” Spoilers: Guest stars and tribute

While the story is fictional, the character of Albie and Dottie sounds similar to Johnny Cash and June Carter in that Johnny, though an icon, didn’t have a hit record though the 80s and 90s as the music world moved on from his style of folk music.

It adds a sense of realism as well as a fear every artist faces when they’re no longer relevant in a growing and evolving industry as well as passing the torch to the next generation.

More than tying into some real world stories and icons, there is also a great list of guest stars from the country music industry slated to appear.

The stars currently listed to appear are Little Big Town, Martina McBride, Tanya Tucker, Shania Twain and we’re excited to see what they contribute to the show.

This series looks like it’ll be along the lines of “Yellowstone” and “Sons of Anarchy”, but not as violent as they delve into the underbelly of the music industry as the Romans fight to keep their dynasty intact.

What are you looking forward to seeing in tonight’s premiere? Let us know in the comments below and check back with FOX “Monarch” Spoilers for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation.
