Dancing With the Stars: Charli D’Amelio Stopped Her Mother Heidi From Quitting The Show
The pair created history as they became the first family members to compete against each other on the franchise, as they joined the 31st season. And yet, it could have all fallen apart as Heidi was having doubts about whether or not she should go through with it.
But through it all, Charli reassured her mother that everything was going to be fine. In her comments, Heidi said: “She told me everything I used to tell her when she was a kid and in dance. So to hear those words coming out of her mouth to me, I was like, ‘Alright, I get it.’ It was great advice.”
Nevertheless, there was a moment where Heidi did seriously consider calling it quits. This was primarily on the basis that rehearsals did not go very well up until the premiere of the new season. She expanded on how she almost began to cry because of that.
Not only that, there were doubts beginning to emerge over whether she could pull through. Heidi’s following comments confirmed as much: “I struggled the entire rehearsal, for three hours, and then I went home and I rehearsed until, like, four in the morning.
“And then I came back a little bit better the next day but it wasn’t great. was like, ‘I can’t. I have to walk away from this.” With the premiere having occurred, Charli managed to outdo her mother.
She ended up receiving a score of 32/40 in comparison to her mother who received 24/40. But in any event, it demonstrated that Heidi was able to put her nerves behind her and give the fans a performance to remember.
And after everything that she had to experience, that was something that she could look back on with fond memories. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
