Dancing With the Stars: Charli D’Amelio’s Boyfriend Landon Barker Supports Her Decision To Join The Show
The TikToker expanded on how Landon, his father Travis Barker, and step-mom, Kourtney Kardashian were ready to see her do well. This is a significant step in Charli’s career as the 18-year old has an opportunity to increase her fan base outside of social media.
Not only that, but Charli has had prior dancing experience before. It is alleged that she was a competitive dancer for around 10 years, which should give her an advantage over the other competitors.
That is why this is something she is looking forward to. In an interview with Page Six, Charli said: “Landon knows that I’m doing this. He’s with me every step of the way throughout this journey.
“Travis and Kourtney, I told them about it, and they were super excited as well. I think, overall, it’s just going to be really fun and I have a very great group around me.”
The dancing franchise is not a strange thing to those around the Kardashian family. During the 7th season of the show, Kim Kardashian competed alongside professional dancer Mark Ballas.
And he just so happens to be partnering up with Charli. Much in the same way, on the 13th season of the show, Rob Kardashian teamed up with Cheryl Burke. With that being said, Charli has an opportunity to outdo both of them if she can win the competition.
Nevertheless, not everybody was on board with Charli’s presence. This was on the basis that she has had prior dancing experience which would give her an unfair competitive advantage.
One person wrote: “Why. why…. why!!!!!!!!!!!! WHY HAVE A DANCER ON A SHOW THAT IS FOR NON DANCERS TO SEE THEIR GROWTH?!!!!!! wHY!”
It will be fascinating to see if Charli does manage to end up walking away as the winner. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
