CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers are ready for hump day and there’s going to be some interesting twists and points of no return being reached in this episode.
Things are going to be ratcheted up in this one as relationships will be fractured while others begin.
Let’s get to the action!
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Victor continues his games
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden)’s efforts to convince Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) to fire Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), or at least consider doing so, will continue as Victor issues yet another warning.
We have to admit this went far smoother than we expected so far, and it looks like Victor will be content to plant suggestions in Jack’s head about Adam and how he’ll destroy Jabot and so on.
Jack won’t pay much attention, though we’re sure he’ll mention Victor’s games from years gone by at some point to show he knows Victor’s just trying to manipulate him.
If Victor really wanted Jack to drop Adam, he should’ve praised Adam’s traits up and down and act like he’s happy for his son. But that means Victor would’ve had to consider how others feel instead of trying to manipulate Jack in the same way that works with his family.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Water’s ready for the lobsters
While Victor tries the subtle approach, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic)’s relationship is going to near critical mass.
It’s going to get pretty hot between them as Devon will feel blindsided and won’t understand why Nate gets frustrated being held in his shadow instead of having his ideas given any consideration.
Nate’s going to keep struggling with being stifled and his ideas cast aside simply because they’re his, and things are going to reach the boiling point between them.
While Devon is the boss, ignoring and alienating hi COO or any employee is exactly how one should deal with an employee, especially when that employee is the second highest member of the team.
They’d better figure out how to fix things in a hurry or they may never be able to get back to where they were. Things are going to get worse before they get better.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Adam’s on the outside
It looks like Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) aren’t going to be able to hide their budding feelings for long, and it looks like Adam will be among the first to notice.
‘Young and the Restless’ think this will be a good scene as we’ll get a glimpse into Adam’s internal war when he sees them together, and the fact Sally is moving on from him with his brother will plant other seeds.
This could drive a one sided wedge between Adam and Nick despite it happening because of Adam’s decision, and that will lead to some fun interactions down the road.
Will Devon and Nate work through their issues, or is their professional careers together over? Let us know below and check back with ‘Young and the Restless’ for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation around.
