CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers are all set for the mid week hump, and there’s going to be some interesting developments coming.
There’s every chance these storylines will fizzle, but we’re hoping the writers will come up with something riveting to match the build, and so far things look promising.
Everyone’s getting into the action as we get ready to head into some fun territory, so let’s dive in!
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For September 21: Diane can’t catch a break
Maybe a day after being handed the decree that if she and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) do anything antagonistic at work they’re both gone, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will be put to the test.
What gives her a slightly better chance here is it’ll be Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) that’s going to give her a hard time.
He’ll try to push her over the edge to get her to act out by simply being himself, or more himself than usual, but we doubt it’ll work. Diane and everyone else in Genoa City are used to Victor so unless he finds a nerve nothing much will come of it.
Now, if he mentions Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott)’s fact finding mission, then all best are off.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For September 21: Nikki meets Deacon
This is the moment ‘Young and the Restless’ have been waiting for as Nikki will finally come face to face with Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan).
We expected this to happen before now, but they like to milk out every moment they can for magical moments. But the time has finally come.
While Nikki will be nervous and on edge, we suspect she’ll find a way to put Deacon back on his heels to get what she wants.
In short, either Victor’s security people or legal team will be at the ready to completely destroy Deacon unless he cooperates.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For September 21: All the chips in the center
We had hoped that Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) was going to try to inflate Chancellor-Winters’ stock price to prove himself, but that’s looking more and more unlikely.
It’s still a possibility, and we’re curious how it’ll all work out, but he’s got to make the next step work and that’s to go back and apologize to keep his job.
With everyone wanting him to stay, it shouldn’t be hard to convince everyone but Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). Billy has a way of spotting a scheme and he may get a whiff of something pretty early in this one.
Will Nikki get Deacon on board with her plan? Let us know below and check back with ‘Young and the Restless’ for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation around.
