The couple have their birthday on the same day, which is why it was even more reason to celebrate. On Sunday, 25th September 2022, Catherine turned 53-years-old. Meanwhile, Michael celebrated turning 78. With that being said, they were looking to make the most of it.
In a post to her fans on Instagram, Catherine shared a video of herself with Michael as they sat on a private jet. It is not clear where they were going, but the smiles on their faces made it clear that they were going to have a big celebration.
The post was captioned by the following comments: “All smiles as we start our birthdays!!!let the games begin!!!!!!” Despite the happiness on show, there was a danger that they may never have gotten together in the first place.
The pair met each other in 1998 when Michael told Catherine that he wanted to be the father of her children. This is the last thing that you would expect to hear when someone takes you on a date, but luckily for Michael, she was able to get past all of that.
In some prior comments, Michael remarked: “I said to her after about half an hour [into hanging out for the first time], ‘You know, I’m going to be the father of your children. And she said, ‘You know, I’ve heard a lot about you and I’ve seen a lot about you, and I think it’s time I say goodnight.”
The fans on social media were delighted for the couple. A significant proportion of fans sent them their best wishes and hoped that they would have a great celebration. One person wrote: “HAPPY BIRTHDAY Y’ALL!! Love you both,” while another person stated: “Happy birthday to you both.”
