Britney Spears has had a lot to say on Instagram. In the wake of the documentary where her son, Jayden James, spoke about her and her parents, Britney’s had more to say. The weekend of September 10th, Spears took to Instagram to share her thoughts and some more insight into her conservatorship. Here’s what you need to know.
Britney Spears responds
This isn’t the first time Spears talked about/directly to her children in the wake of that interview. In a brief audio clip, she responded to the assertion they’d like to see her again once she’s better. Spears said, “I’m afraid to inform you guys, I’m not willing to see you until I feel valued. I won’t be calling your monitor weekly, who never did his job of informing me when you were coming.”

Spears admitted to being a little too accommodating during the situation when it came to visits, saying, “I should have valued myself more.”
As for some comments that have gone around since Spears started speaking out, she said she is looking for attention. She does, in fact, want to be heard. And she’s not worried about offending people with her posts, because she’d been so offended.
Britney Spears opens up
In an audio that goes in and out, audio wise, she talked about her experience in the facility she’s mentioned multiple times. Britney Spears felt none of it made sense, and she felt scared. More than once, she referenced feeling they were trying to kill her.
The next day, Spears posted another audio to her Instagram talking about having to do MRIs before heading to said facility. Spears shared that this brought up a childhood experience that made her scared to go for the procedures. She felt her family was hiding a serious condition from her.
Britney Spears on healing
In another post, Spears spoke about doing equine therapy and how it’s helpful, but it’s also short sessions so she still feels like she needs to break through a wall still. Speaking of the therapy she endured in the facility, she felt she was being studied like a science project.
Britney talked about having a therapist, but the person is only available at certain times. So, she feels that by sharing her thoughts on her Instagram, it helps her to get things out. “It’s really crucial for me to feel like I can share, and if it’s the dumbest thing to share on my Instagram, so be it,” said the singer.
Adding to the collection of posts, Spears posted a comment on one of the audios that said, “Sorry I will never forget because of the pain and the difference in being out of my head clear moving my feet … its only been 10 months since the conservatorship has ended … I wouldn’t wish that kind of pain on anyone !!! It’s extremely hard for me to accept the fact that my family did that to me … it will be hard for me for the rest of my life.”
As for whether or not fans might see her on stage again, Spears wrote, “I won’t probably perform again just because I’m stubborn and I will make my point.”
Whether or not Spears gets onstage again, fans believe she might have another path in store. One in particular suggested a podcast, which we believe would be a huge hit. Time will tell as to whether Spears will join other celebrities in starting a podcast.
