Actress Pauley Perrette has revealed how she nearly died from a stroke a year ago.

The star has had a difficult period of late in her personal life. She lost her father in 2021 after he allegedly passed away due to covid-19. And as part of that process, she almost suffered the same fate as the stroke was quite severe.
And given that it happened in a period where she had seen quite a few loved ones pass away, it really put things into perspective. In her comments, she said: “One year ago I had a massive [stroke].
“Before that I lost so many beloved family and friends, and daddy and then Cousin Wayne. Yet still a survivor after this traumatic life I’ve been given so far … and still so grateful.”
This is not the only time that Pauley has faced adversity in her life. During her time on the set of ‘Broke,’ she allegedly suffered physical assaults on numerous occasions. Not only that, but Pauley let her fans know that she has also been through domestic violence.
And it is that turbulence, though, which has given her a source of strength now that she has managed to overcome the obstacles. Her following comments confirmed as much: “I almost died from a hair dye allergy, I have food allergies. I’m a domestic violence and rape survivor.
“I’ve been through a lot in the last two years…But I’m still here.” The fans on social media praised Pauley for the courage that she had shown. And her story served as an example to others that it was possible to overcome hardships.
One person wrote: “Hello Ms Pauley Perrette, I thank God you’r[e] still with us, KEEP Your FAITH IN GOD, One Day at a time.” Pauley has shown a lot of courage, as there was no obligation on her to share this. But by doing so, she has inspired others to overcome their obstacles.
