‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that while Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) thinks he’s untouchable and continues doing what he wants, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is growing tired of his father. Not only has he been able to figure out that Victor was involved in the Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) murder case, but it feels like he’s been knocked down for the last time.
Adam has constantly been knocked down by his family over the years and it seems like he’s done with it. While figuring out what to do next, he speaks with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), someone he’s always been able to find sage advice from.

I know I’ve always enjoyed seeing Jack and Adam share the screen together, as it seems like they have a real connection. Now, Jack has offered Adam a job at Jabot and while I think it would be a good move for Adam to get a steady job and be around people who respect him, I think there might be even something better in the deal.
While I believe Adam truly loves his father, I think there’s something there that will never be whole. With Jack, Adam can be much more honest and without fear of retribution. There’s a softness to Jack that Adam rarely sees in Victor, and a strong role model to look up to.
Don’t get me wrong, I understand the Victor fan club, but he has not been the greatest to Adam, and has constantly belittled and pulled the rug out from his son. Not only would working for Jabot be a fresh start, but I think Adam could learn a lot from Jack and become a sort of ‘adopted father’ to him.
