‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has been a staple of the show for decades and is one of the most beloved soap stars ever, however, his star and intrigue may be dying a bit in recent years. He appears tired and sleepy on screen and his speech continues to be more and more mumbled.
To add to this, viewers are tired of watching him try to control every situation that comes up, acting as though he is invulnerable. The latest mess with Ashland Locke (Robert Newman), and throwing his children into the middle of an investigation has a lot of fans beginning to doubt him.
‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Fans Begin To Turn On Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), Is It Time For Him To Call It?
Viewers have reacted to Victor saying, “Victor did something that was not necessary. He is not God or Above the Law. Pay Time.”, “I don’t understand why Victor did what he did if it was self defense why take Ashland’s body and make it seem like he got in a accident. Victor just pretty much turned it into a crime”, “Victor’s going down.”, “Can Victor stay awake long enough to say his lines ?? Please writers end this story for this man can take a vacation!!!!”, and “I wonder what Victor will do to his security team
It’s not often that Victor of all people gets called out, but it seems to be happening more and more lately and I think we’re all thinking the same thing. It may be time for him to call it a day and move on. Y&R would be fine and continue to live on without him even though he’s been the top dog for so long.
Get some rest Braeden, you have earned it.
