‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that while Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) is freaking out about what happened and knows that Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) is not going to back down from the investigation, he does not seem to be getting much help from his family.
His father, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has essentially written it off as no big deal and now his own sister who was there, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) is basically blaming Nick for being worried. What is happening? No wonder Nick didn’t want to come back to this dreadful company.

Viewers reacted to the moment saying, “How about having enough HONOR to admit to the crime and the DUTY to accept the consequences for it? Nope, the Newmans are ultra-rich and don’t have to suffer like ‘little people’.”, “Wait! Victoria thinks it’s Nick’s fault for getting the truth out of Victor? Victor tampers with evidence; stages an accident to make it look like Ashland died in a car accident; and somehow THAT’s Nick’s fault? Victoria is so self-serving. Somehow now you’ve decided this mess is all Nick’s fault? He TOLD Victoria from the start he didn’t trust Ashland, but Victoria married him anyway.”
I think Nick has every right to be concerned about what happened and I don’t understand why Victor and Victoria think they can control everything. Nick has done nothing wrong except be concerned for him and his family while Victoria just assumes that Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) will convince Chance to turn a blind eye because they’re married.
