The former star of ‘The Real Housewives of New York City’ just so happened to be reviewing the product on TikTok. During the course of that process, she decided to try out Kim’s eye cream that can expect to set you back $75.
But by the looks of it, the product failed to impress. In her comments, she said: “Bulbous. I don’t understand it, because it doesn’t stack. I don’t have a circular house or medicine cabinet. It doesn’t even have a flat bottom, so it’s effectively like an egg.”
That was then followed up by another product review, which did not go down well equally. Bethenny turned her attention towards Kim’s exfoliator. That will cost someone $55, but once again, it was not something to write home about.
Her following comments confirmed as much: “How are you going to travel with this? You have to be a billionaire to use this product, because if you don’t have a private plane, how are you traveling with this? It’s just not practical.”
Her comments were then finished off by questioning whether the pricing justified the products. After all, Kim is a billionaire that is used to traveling on private jets. And yet, she was marketing a product for the mass market that simply did not resonate with the target audience.
And this was reflected in the comments that followed on social media. A certain subset of people were also of the view that the products were not worth buying, as there were alternatives that made more sense.
One person wrote: “The packaging such a good call out, who has room in their makeup bag for that,” while another person stated: “So many trust your opinion! Never having met you, probably never will but still trust you more than most! Says so much about YOU!! Love you QUEEN B.”
