Elsewhere, Melinda makes a shocking announcement to Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) and Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart). We’re assuming she’ll be charging them both as co-conspirators in the crime. One, it wouldn’t be shocking to either if the other was charged. They’ve both trying to save their own skin here. Plus, Gwen is a recently pardoned woman. Imagine the big splash it would make if she were to nail the woman the Governor set free? One who was related to the murder victim, no less, and involved her bestie in the crime? Yeah, this is definitely the kind of high-profile story she’d be desperate for. Especially given the luck she’s had with this case so far.

Which, by the way, Steve Johnson’s (Stephen Nichols) paranoia actually caused her mother to get abducted by the very man Steve was trying to protect Stephanie from.
