Fans have defended Miranda Lambert after the singer became a victim of body shaming.

This arrived in response to a TikTok video showing the musician performing her song ‘Drunk.’ And as Miranda had the crowd in sync, it was surprising to see the singer get a lot of backlash, since her vocals were on point. But rather than her voice being subjected to criticism, it was her appearance.

So much so that the comments started to become very derogatory indeed, as there were some personal attacks. One such comment even mocked the singer over her divorce to Blake Shelton. One person wrote: Well I guess we know who took it the bad way.

“Wait, did she eat Blake?” While another person stated: “Miranda Lamburger.” Those comments were bound to have had an impact on Miranda, especially since she is in an industry where there is an expectation to look a certain way.

Not only that, but this could set a precedent where other musician’s are mocked simply because they fail to have an image that people expect them to conform towards. Despite the negative criticism, Miranda was able to rely on her hardcore fanbase, who stepped up to the plate.

In doing so, they slammed the trolls and praised the musician. One person wrote: I’m not really into country songs but I respect the music and artists.  Miranda is stunning regardless of her weight.”

While another person stated: “In person, she probably is an average weight. Most people would kill to be her boyfriend, so for them to make these comments while they sit on the couch with their beer bellies is disgusting.”

As long as Miranda is happy with the way that she looks, then who are we to question otherwise. And that is the most important thing to remember going forward, regardless of what others may have to say about it all. So there you have it folks.
