Lance Armstrong has officially married Anna Hansen.

The couple began dating after they got together in 2008. During the course of the process, they got to know each other very well before they got engaged in 2017.
But things were not so easy though, as Armstrong was dogged by allegations that he had been using performance-enhancing drugs which contributed to his Tour de France victories.
That eventually led to Armstrong coming out and admitting in an Oprah Winfrey expose that he did in fact use performance-enhancing drugs. But through it all, Anna stood by his side which has now culminated in the pair committing themselves to each other.
In the pictures here, we can see the pair in their wedding attire. They have massive smiles on their faces and could not be any happier, as they enjoy the company of their close ones.
The post was captioned by the following comments: “Best. Day. Ever. Married the love of my life @annahansenarmstrong. So special having our kids there as well. It was an evening full of laughter and plenty of joyful tears.
“Anna, you have been my absolute rock the past 14 years and let me be clear, I would not have survived them without you.” Despite the clear happiness on show, not everybody was pleased about the news. This was on the basis that the wedding had taken place in France.
Therefore, people could not understand why Armstrong would decide to do this, knowing the pain he had caused the community by ultimately cheating in the biggest race there. One person wrote: “Lance Armstrong has the nerve to show is face in France?”
Lance has certainly come a long way since his scandal, but one thing for sure is that it will still take some time before he is fully accepted back into the public fold. But in the meantime, he will not mind too much as he has bigger things to keep himself preoccupied with.
