Nothing like some twists making things interesting to start a new week off, and CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers are set to dive into things.
It looks like some things are going to start clearing up, while others are going to remain a bit murky due to stubbornness and pride, but that’s to be expected.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Victor Tells Chance what he thinks
No one can ever accuse Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) of not remaining true to form as he’s going to set the record straight with Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd).
Well, it’ll be Victor’s version of events he’s going to impress on Chance to accept his version of things and stop digging.
Chance will probably point out the description of the original scene would’ve been an easy case of self defense, but now it’s morphed into something else. We doubt he’ll go so far as to tell Victor he won’t be bullied off the case, but anything’s possible.
Of course, there’s also the fact Victor will call out Chance trying to hurt his own family. ‘Young and the Restless’ would love it if Chance points out how Victor’s the one doing the harm, but we doubt the writers will go that far.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Victoria opens up
With the Newmans looking to circle the wagons on Victor’s orders, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will be the good daughter and do her part by approaching Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway).
While we don’t think this is meant as a malicious attempt or anything, there is a high probability that Victoria will do whatever she can to manipulate Abby into getting Chance to stop doing his job.
To do that, she’ll confess to Abby that Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) lost his mind and was going to hurt her had Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) not been there to intercede.
The fact Victor’s people were already there won’t be a concern, but how they intervened on Victor’s orders won’t be missed by Abby. She’ll fee for Victoria, but we don’t see it being enough to push her to press Chance.
Especially when there was no need for Victor to do what he did. Battle lines could be drawn within the family thanks to this moment.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Phyllis’ scheme begins
Now that she’s in, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will begin to set her plan in motion and things will start moving quickly.
We think she’s going to be smart enough to set up Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) and do so that when Diane defends herself she’ll accuse Phyllis.
Of course, this will backfire spectacularly for the simple fact that Diane hasn’t had a problem before Phyllis started working there, but now she’ll mess up?
Phyllis will try to say it’s just Diane’s way of setting her up, but we doubt anyone will believe her after her recent track record.
Do you think Phyllis will pull this off, or will it implode like so many of her other schemes? Let us know below and check back with ‘Young and the Restless’ for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation around.
