The heat is going to be turned up in Genoa City this week as CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers kick off the new week in style.
This episode looks like it’s going to focus mainly on the consequences of decisions and it’s going to make things very interesting.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For August 8: Circling the wagons
‘Young and the Restless’ are expecting the tension to build this week as legal pressure mounts on the Newmans following Victor Newman (Eric Braeden)’s ill-advised decision.
We’re going to see Victor continue to spit in the face of the law and justice as he’ll begin setting up a defense for his family, and we’re guessing that’s mainly going to amount to pressuring Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) to drop his investigation.
We have to admit we were wrong in thinking Chance would let Victor push him around, and we’re glad to see he and Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) are examining things from every angle.
Victor messed up big time, but we have every notion to expect him to come out of this smelling like a rose in his own world.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For August 8: Guarding her own

It makes sense since Phyllis does have the habit of inflicting collateral damage when she doesn’t mean to,
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For August 8: Traci digs in
It’s not a surprise the heart and soul of the Abbott family will want to have a better understanding of Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman)’s feeling for Diane.
Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) has seen the highs and lows of the family and the pain Diane’s inflicted, so she’ll want to make sure Jack is certain in what he’s doing.
She doesn’t want to see him get hurt again, but she’s also open minded enough that she’d be one of the few to officially accept Diane, at least provisionally, if that helps make Jack happy.
This is going to be a good scene for them as she’ll get Jack to open up like few others are able to.
What do you think he’s feeling for Diane? Let us know below and check back with ‘Young and the Restless’ for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation around.
