‘Breaking Bad’ is one of the highest-rated television shows in recent history. Starring Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul, they perfectly embodied their characters and their chemistry was off the charts. Now, nearly a decade after ‘Breaking Bad’ ended, they’ve reunited in one of the most anticipated episodes of ‘Better Call Saul’ yet.
Over the last six seasons of ‘Better Call Saul’, fans have been waiting for the moment when Walter and Jesse showed up looking for help, and it was finally done in a scene in the infamous R.V. As Saul was commenting about the R.V., Jesse walks in behind him, with Walt shortly after, and what happens next sets up the rest of ‘Breaking Bad’.
Bryan Cranston And Aaron Paul Perfectly Slide Back Into Their ‘Breaking Bad’ Roles After Nearly A Decade On ‘Better Call Saul’
The episode in question is in season 6, episode 11, and is titled ‘Breaking Bad’. You can see the scene above and fans had a lot to say about the moment. Fans reacts in the comments saying, “Its funny when Jesse asked who Lalo was not knowing he’s gonna be dancing on top of his grave months later.”, “14 years later Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul chemistry is still off the charts”, “Jesse was so proud that he could correct Saul on flask but then double checks with Walt just to be sure classic!”, “I like that they used this scene not just as fan service , but also to make a parallel with what Gene is now doing”, “Seeing Walt and Jesse again is like bumping into your 2 friends you havent seen in almost a decade.”, and “My goodness, how great an actor is Bryan Cranston. He played Season 2 Walt perfectly, (not S1 Walt, not S4 Heisenberg!) he slipped back into that role and mindset, and made it look effortless.”
This definitely makes me want to go back and rewatch ‘Breaking Bad’ again for the 3rd time. What an incredible show, and ‘Better Call Saul’ does such a great job at tying into without creating too many plotholes.
