Anti-Abortion Activism and Did PAAU (Progressive Anti-Abortion Uprising) Steal 150 aborted fetuses?

A few weeks back, there was a headline about an anti-abortion acitivist called Lauren Handy, who is associated with the organization PAAU, Police were called to her home awhile back when coolers of medical waste were discovered at her home, initially it was thought that there were just five aborted fetuses at her home.

Handy honestly didn’t seem to worried about it and even said “People will freak out” when they found out about what was at her home. Little did anyone realize how bad it truly was, because PAAU did not just stop at stealing five aborted fetuses.

Rather, it wound up discovered that there were 150 aborted fetuses in all. The organization is claiming that the truck driver transporting the medical waste is the one who handed over the fetuses but the truck driving company is denying any responsibility (no word from the driver yet), basically it is suspected that the organization, or individuals associated with the organization, stole medical waste off a truck and claims that they gave them a proper burial in an undisclosed location.

This doesn’t make any sort of organization look good, in fact, this works to discredit any sort of anti-abortion activism they were hoping to achieve and sort of makes them look… well…

Unhinged.

This woman, and probably some other members of the organization, worked together to steal 150 pieces of medical waste from a truck. However, that still doesn’t account for the five that were found in coolers in her house, were those just waiting until she could get the weekend off to dig up an area in the woods somewhere?

The sentiment, in theory, can be thought of as sweet, but at the same time, most clinics hire companies devoted to disposing of medical waste for this purpose. In the UK, burial and cremation are sometimes offered to the woman, but it seems that in the US this is not an option yet.

Although, to prevent things like this from happening one wonders if it should be simply to prevent people like this organization from weaponizing a woman’s right to choose against them in such a grisly manner. In cases like this, medical waste should at least be better guarded, it would seem. We at DSD will continue to follow this story. Stay tuned!!!
