You would think, just from the looks of things that Barry and Kim Plath met while in college and had your idyllic, but completely Christian, romance then got married and had 10 kids back to back and lived happily ever after, right? Well, that’s the image that they want to portray, because it didn’t actually happen that way. For all his pious ways now, you would never guess that Barry had been married before.
That’s right – Barry Plath was married to a woman before Kim. He doesn’t mention it, he probably doesn’t want anyone to know about it, because unlike Kim who was willing to be the perfect submissive wife to Barry and pop out 10 kids and stay at home all the time – this woman is her complete opposite.
Was Barry Plath married before?
She isn’t named, but that is because she still runs a family law practice in Minnesota. That’s right, Barry Plath’s ex-wife was a lawyer, an educated lady who originally attended Minnesota State, then attended Florida State University, the same alma-mater that Kim Plath attended. This gives rise to a lot of questions, because there are a few things that we don’t actually know about Kim and Barry’s love story.
It was hinted that they met when Kim was in college. We thought that Barry was in college too at the time, but was he actually married at the time? Was there a showdown between two girls over Barry Plath at some point? Also, if he were married at the time… why would he even pursue Kim? Or did it happen after the marriage was already over?
As for his first marriage, it’s unconfirmed but rumored that they had two daughters together. There are conflicting reports on social media about that bit of information, someone said that they saw a copy of the divorce decree and they said that it said no children – however – there is always the possibility that Barry’s ex went onto have two children of her own with another person.
Barry doesn’t necessarily have to be the Father to these two girls. We have to wonder, though, if this claim is true, what broke that marriage up? Was it the same thing that Kim has been saying? Was there infidelity involved? Was Kim ‘The Other Woman’? Or did the lawyer lady just not want to settle down and pop out 10 babies back to back? Inquiring minds want to know. Stay tuned!!!
