The nephew of Ricky Martin, 21, withdrew his accusations that they had a sexual relationship with him and then harassed him afterward, and Ricky Martin has just won the case.
According to TMZ, Ricky showed up to the court case on Zoom, and his legal team said, “Just as we had anticipated, the temporary protection order was not extended by the court. The accuser confirmed to the court that his decision to dismiss the matter was his alone, without any outside influence or pressure.”
Ricky Martin Wins In Court As Nephew DISMISSES Claims Of Incest And Abuse
Martin’s legal team continued to say, “and the accuser confirmed he was satisfied with his legal representation in the matter. The request came from the accuser asking to dismiss the case. This was never anything more than a troubled individual making false allegations with absolutely nothing to substantiate them. We are glad that our client saw justice done and can now move forward with his life and his career.”
The nephew claimed that after a seven-month sexual relationship, Ricky started stalking and harassing the nephew. Ricky vehemently refuted the accusations, claiming he never had a sex with the man. The nephew has mental health issues, according to the singer’s legal team.
Last week, the nephew had won a temporary restraining order, but Ricky and his group weren’t present.
