The Real Housewives of Orange County: Meghan King Looks Back On Her 2-Month Marriage To US President Joe Biden’s Nephew Cuffe Owens-‘Learned Some Big Lessons From That Mistake’
The former star of ‘The Real Housewives of Orange County’ decided to tie the knot after having only dated him for around 2 months. The news was a shock to say the least, which is why it was not a surprise that the pair parted ways soon after by getting the marriage annulled.
And now that the dust has settled, Meghan admitted that it was not her finest moment. In an interview on the “Divorced Not Dead” podcast, she said: “We rushed into it. Like I said earlier, I’m a lover and I want everybody to be happy.
“I learned some big lessons from that mistake. I’m sure he did as well.” And by the looks of it, things were doomed from the outset for the following reasons. First of all, the short space of time clearly demonstrated that they had not gotten to know each other enough.
And by rushing into things, it soon became clear that they had different priorities. Secondly, when it came to priorities, Meghan admitted that she did not want to get married again.
So the fact that she walked down the aisle was a clear sign that she was not thinking clearly. She added: “[I] didn’t ever want to get married again, but it was important to him.” Things are looking a lot better for Meghan, though.
Reports indicate that she has moved on with Trevor Calhoun, who happens to be the CEO of Trusted Provider Network. Although it is still very early days, Meghan has managed to put Cuffe behind her which can only be a good thing.
Time will tell whether Meghan settles down with Trevor going forward, but based on how bad her relationship with Cuffe ended up being, surely it cannot be any worse than that experience.
