NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: The Week Of July 25th Hints At Tragedy Ahead – Plus, Robert Scott Wilson Returns!

NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers for the week of July 25th reveal we’re meeting a new character this week. We may also be saying goodbye to another. Get ready for another week with lots of sad drama. But hopefully this new addition can lighten things up. Here’s what you need to know.

NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Hello, again

First, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal Robert Scott Wilson said farewell to Ben Weston when he and Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) sailed off into the sunset. However, as we mentioned, we haven’t seen the last of Wilson in Salem. In fact, he’ll be back this week! But there’s a catch.

This time, he’s playing Alexander Kiriakis, son of Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth). From what we’ve been reading, we look forward to seeing him in action. And the weekly gave us another reason to anticipate the change. In the promo, he makes a joke at his former character’s expense. So, we can definitely see some lightness coming to relieve the tension on the show lately. It’s been pretty dark with the death of Abigail Deveraux (Marci Miller) hanging over so many characters’ heads.

NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Eric to the rescue?

In other ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers, it seems Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) will have a rough week. In the promo, she’s being held at gunpoint by a mugger. Fortunately for her, it seems Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) happens upon the scene. From what we’re reading, we assume he manages to rescue her from danger. Will this be another excuse to possibly hint at a reunion? We’ll see. But we’re hopeful, based on other teasers coming, that might not happen.

NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Tragic twist?

Finally, there’s Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash). It seems he and Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) will also get a visit from the mugger. However, it doesn’t look like this encounter will end well. In the promo, Jake is shot in the process, and we can’t with the idea they’re killing him off. He’s a fun character, and do we really need to see that happen since it looks like they’re planning to get married?

Also, we’re not thrilled with the circumstances. It’s too similar, in our opinion, to what happened with Stefan DiMera (Barash). And other rumors we’re hearing make us wonder what mess we’re walking into with this exit. Not to mention, Ava’s had some terrible luck with men, and we think she deserves a win here.
