Mickey Rourke, an acquaintance of Johnny Depp, has slammed Amber Heard in light of her defamation trial loss against the actor.
Mickey Rourke SLAMS Amber Heard By Referring To Her As A Gold Digger-‘The Truth Came Out’
Amber, for her part, has been ordered to pay a judgment around $10 million dollars. However, her legal team has made it very clear that she is not in a position to pay such a thing. That is why it is not surprising to hear that Heard’s team have indicated a desire to appeal the decision.
But in any event, Mickey did not hold back on his condemnation for Heard by accusing her of only being after money. During an interview on “Piers Morgan Uncensored”, Mickey said: “I felt bad for somebody that is trying to get chopped down by some gold digger.
“Abso-f–king-lutely [she is a gold digger]. Absolutely.” Mickey is well aware of what can happen when a relationship turns sour. He had his own experience in dealing with the fallout that emerged when he split from his ex-wife Carré Otis.
The latter had claimed that Mickey was abusive and even went so far as to state that he had threatened to take his own life if she did not marry him. It is not surprising that their 8-year marriage ended in 1999, as things were no longer tenable.
And this is something that Mickey hinted at when he was discussing Johnny’s case. He stated: “All I could say is, I was in a situation one time where I got blamed for something that I didn’t do. It cost me movie jobs for several years, and it caused me a bad reputation.
“Finally, the truth came out, but the truth came out after I lost movies and I lost jobs.” Hopefully, Johnny can finally move on after having come out victorious. And for Mickey, he is also in a better position to navigate any similar struggles that may come his way given the prior experience.
