The more things change, the more that stay the same in Genoa City, and CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers aren’t surprised by a couple of moves.
We’re holding out hope that there are plans in the works to make this pay off, and that could potentially be starting in this episode.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For July 14: Victory lap
With Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) appearing in Newman Enterprises to Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden)’s shock, we’re expecting Ashland to admit defeat.
In this case, he’ll tell them they won and he’s lost everything and so on, and may even make a final desperate plea to Victoria to forgive him before he’s cast out.
Victor will happily share his thoughts about Ashland to him as he begins his happy dance and celebrates Ashland leaving Genoa City a crushed man.
This will all be a ruse, of course, but Victor probably won’t see that coming until something happens. Kinda like he didn’t realize Ashland’s son was his weakness, but that’s another story.
Besides, Victor will be pleased that his latest manipulation attempt worked.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For July 14: Adam’s back
Yep, ‘Young and the Restless’ think Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will return to the company to save Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope)’s job.
Of course, this is going to tickle Victor’s fancy as he’s found a way to force his family to work for his company so he can have an easier time micromanaging them.
But since it appears Adam is working with Ashland to bring him down, Victor won’t see that coming for a while. We doubt Victor will fall like any despot should, but if they do it would be a pretty cool storyline.
We doubt Sally will like Adam coming back to save her, so he’ll have to fill her in about his plan. As for Victoria, she’s not going to like Victor making unilateral decisions when she’s supposed to be the one in charge.
Wash, rinse, repeat.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For July 14: Noah’s decision
With Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) not happy about being placed in the position to follow in Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow)’s footsteps, he’s going to look for some advice from Sharon Newman (Sharon Case).
Sharon will tell him to follow his heart, and that’ll mean turning down Nick’s offer. It’ll hurt him, but we expect Nick to stay true to his belief and not bully his son into following in his footsteps.
It’ll be a good counterpoint to Victor’s continued manipulations to make himself happy, not his family.
