Aerosmith lead singer Steven Tyler has reportedly left rehab.Â
Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler Is Out Of Rehab-‘The Singer Is Totally Clean And Sober, Doing Amazingly Well’
According to reports, Steven had spent over a month in rehab after initial claims that it was meant to be no more than 30 days. But after having taken the time to make sure that he got himself well, it appears to have done the trick.Â
And the 74-year-old showed no signs that he was going to let his recent setback get the better of him. A source told TMZ the following: “The singer is totally clean and sober, doing “amazingly well” and looks good physically too — our sources say he’s at a healthy weight and his skin looks great.”
As of now, it is too early to speculate whether or not Steven will be making a return to the stage anytime soon. Prior going into rehab, the band were on course to perform their ‘Las Vegas Residency’ shows. But after Steven had decided to get himself into rehab, it was pretty clear that those plans had to be scrapped.Â
In a statement at the time, the band members remarked: “We are truly sorry to inform our fans and friends that we must cancel our first set of Las Vegas Residency dates this June and July while he focuses on his well-being.”
With that being said, the fans on social media were delighted by the news. This was on the grounds that Steven had managed to defy the odds and overcome his issues. And now that he has gotten himself out of rehab, his story served as an example to others going through similar things.
One person wrote: “I am proud of Steven for recognising that there was a problem and for seeking the help that he needed at the time. My continued well wishes.”
It is great to see Steven in a much better place, and hopefully going forward, things continue to stay that way. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
