On 90 Day Fiancé, Yvette Arellano has shown us that taking care of her son can be a challenge. Her 12-year-old son, Tharan, has developed quite a close relationship with Mohamed Abdelhamed and they seem to be very good buddies on the show. Yve has been leaning on Mohamed to help her to take care of her son while she is at work. Although Mohamed wasn’t too sure about this at first, he has really grown to love Tharan and they get along really well. Yvette recently shared some news on her Instagram account and her fans are feeling pretty sad about it.
90 Day Fiancé: Yvette Shares Bad News
When we were first introduced to Tharan, we found out that he has down syndrome, autism, and stage 2 kidney disease. He has to be catheterized every three hours and raising him has been a lot for Yve since she is a single mom. Yve tries to be as positive as she can about her son and works really hard to take care of him and make sure that he has care around the clock.
90 Day Fiancé: Yvette Arellano Gives Her Fans Some Sad News About Her Son’s Health
About eight years ago, she was engaged to Tharan’s dad, but she decided that she wasn’t ready to be married to him, so they broke it off. There are many viewers who think that the same thing could happen with her and Mohamed too. In the trailer for the next episode, it looks as if she will chat with her friend about the wedding and her friend tells her that if she wants to be a runaway bride, it’s normal.
With all of her problems with Mohamed, Yve hasn’t really been sharing much about her son’s health. In a recent post, she told her fans that they were on the list for him to have a kidney transplant. They had to do some more tests and the lab results showed that his Glomerular filtration rate had gotten very low. In fact, it has never been this low and his doctors are worried since he has just hit puberty and it is putting a strain on his kidneys.
Yve posted a picture of her with Tharan and wrote, “I didn’t get the best news on Friday. I’m finding it difficult to still talk about, although as always I will always keep fighting to extend his life and hopefully he won’t have to have a transplant in the near future. I really didn’t know how much time I would have with him. I will never give up and he means everything to me. But, I can’t say I’m not scared and worried. I’m still trying to process these results.”
Our thoughts go out to Yve and Tharan during this tough time.
