90 Day Fiancé: The Truth Behind JIbri Bell Leaving His High-Paying Job For a Music Career

On this season of 90 Day Fiancé, we have seen a lot of Jibri Bell and his band, The Black Serbs. He has been in the band for a few years and is trying his best to learn how to balance a music career and a relationship. He isn’t working on anything other than music right now and that really seems to have put a lot of stress on him and his family.

Not only that, his fiancé, Miona Bell has some very high expectations as far as a wedding and moving. It turns out that he has had a job before and this job paid him a lot of money. Why did he quit?

90 Day Fiancé: His Previous Job

In his most recent post on Instagram, he had a Q&A session with his fans. His fans asked about his jobs in the past and he told them that he was working in a very high-paying real estate office, but he left there to pursue music. He said that in 2017, he was working in Chicago and in the real estate business.

He liked the money that he was making, but he didn’t like the job itself. He told his fans, “I made the most money I ever had on paper…however, I was miserable.”

That is when he decided to leave the job because it just wasn’t what he wanted. He really has always been interested in being in the music industry and now he is making his dreams come true, along with his bandmates.

Jibri also went on to say, “As cliche as it sounds, if you have a dream, please put gasoline on that fire!” He has tried to boost his followers to do what makes them happiest. He does know that many of them are in jobs that they are not fond of, but he urges them to follow their dreams the way that he is. Not all of us will end up on a reality show though.

There have been other cast members to use the show to promote their music careers and if you remember Evelyn Cormier and Usman Umar, you can see just what it did for them. Will it help Jibri’s career? We will just have to wait and see.

Be sure to tune in to see more of Jibri and Miona on 90 Day Fiancé. The show airs on Sunday nights at 8 p.m. EST on TLC. You can also follow them on Instagram.
