If we thought that Yara Zaya Dufren was going to take the side of friend Julia Trubkina Gibb in her recent post about how she felt that TLC was discriminating against her because she is Russian, well, perhaps we underestimated Yara.
Because in a recent post to her instagram story, Yara posted a picture of her looking pretty indignant with the caption, “My reaction when Russian people complain that the world discriminates against them” which fans have interpreted it to mean that it was a slam to Julia’s post stating that she wouldn’t be on this season’s Happily Ever After because she is Russian.

Even though she and Brandon and the rest of the family both do Pillow Talk and 90 day diaries, so it’s not like she’s completely out of the 90 day universe, she’s just not being allowed to continue her journey on Happily Ever After.
Though, in all honesty, Happy Ever After has needed some new blood for awhile and we’re pretty sure that she and Brandon aren’t the only ones being axed off that show, anyone remember Mike and Natalie? Yeah, we’re pretty sure that they won’t be back either. Besides, two shows are better than none, if you think about it, and Julia’s doing better than some 90 day alum who have been left in the dust.
As for Yara Zaya, we do kind of wonder if this means that her friendship with Julia is on the rocks. Then again, if Julia suspected that Yara was being in any way nice or conversational toward Brandon at all, we can see where Julia would have suddenly gotten cold towards her.
Julia has a tendency to cut off other females for no reason, even when she has said in the past that she wanted to be an event planner, and a dance/gym instructor, both fields that require a certain amount of social interaction with females.
Yara does not seem to be this closed off and for awhile we thought that Yara’s influence might be good on her, but people will only allow themselves to be influenced so far, and while it may be a case of bad editing, Julia seems to be the type to get offended over everything. We can see where Yara would be rolling her eyes. Stay tuned!!!
