NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers reveal Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker) is in a bit of a mess right now. Recently, Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) drugged him, then took pictures that he plastered all over the media. Obviously, Sonny’s upset about this. He’s even going so far to (after being told to) get tested so they have proof of what Leo drugged him with. The objective? Lock him up for his crime. However, we are gonna have to say we have little sympathy here. Here’s why.

Okay, we’ll be fair here. ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers indicate Sonny had every reason to be wary of Leo’s intentions when he arrived back in town on Craig Wesley’s (Kevin Spirtas) arm. After what Leo pulled previously, why wouldn’t he question this? And he certainly wasn’t alone.
Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) were also horrified at who Craig was seeing. And they did everything possible to break the pair up. So, again… there were plenty of people who didn’t trust him. There’s just one problem here.

So, Sonny became obsessed with the idea of exposing Leo. So much so, he was willing to drag his supposed good friend Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) into his scheme. And Chad certainly wanted no part of it. Especially when they said he’d have to actually try getting Leo into bed.
Chad’s outright horror should have been enough for a real friend to back off. Maybe realize you’re asking way too much. Not with Sonny, though. He even managed to get Abigail Deveraux (Marci Miller) in on things.
But we have to side with Chad’s initial response. It wasn’t his business to get in between Craig and Leo. He didn’t really even know Craig. If multiple warnings were not enough to change Craig’s mind, they should never have resorted to the crazy tactics they did to “save” Craig from a scam artist. If Sonny was a good friend, he should have respected Chad’s initial decision rather than guilt him into things.

Finally, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal he didn’t really save anyone with this whole thing. Leo had been intending to scam Craig, but he ultimately fell in love and was willing to sign away all rights to Craig’s money if they split. That should have been enough to get Sonny and the rest to back off, but they kept at it and eventually broke up the formerly happy couple.
Now, Sonny’s obsession with revenge has cost Chad some embarrassing press, as well as Sonny’s own embarrassing pictures. Not only that, but Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) had a panic when he thought he just ate poison fruit.
Meanwhile, Leo’s not done. He’s so hurt, he’s going down the list of enemies to make them all pay. And we have a feeling, given the rumors about Abigail, that this “good deed” could ultimately going to cost Chad and his kids more than he could imagine. So, we don’t feel too bad about Sonny’s latest problem.
