Daniel Franzese, who is best known for being on the movie ‘Mean Girls’ opened up on how he was brainwashed against his mother doing some conversion therapy.

The actor, for his part, claimed that he had been forced into it so that this would convert him from being a homosexual man into a heterosexual one. This was on the basis that Daniel did not know how to react to his sexuality, which is why it made sense that he did not want to be gay at the time.
Although Daniel did not feel persecuted by his Christian family, he admitted that he still had challenges. In an interview with Page Six, he said: “I went to one-on-one therapy sessions with a person who was trying to change me straight and make me pray the gay away and alienate all my allies.
“They told me to tell my mom that my mom was the reason that I was leaning toward bisexual thoughts.” Therefore, Daniel was advised to come out to his mother on the basis that she would be blamed for making him feel like this.
And in the process of doing that, it led to a deterioration of relations between him and his mother. So much so that Daniel admitted to not having spoken to his mother for around 2 months during that time.
But during one of his therapy sessions, Daniel realised that he had been overwhelmed by everything which is why he had to change his approach. He added: “You can be [s–king a d–k], and the second coming of Christ could happen, and you’re not gonna go to hell if you love God. That’s not what it is.”
And after having left the conversation therapy, the relationship between Daniel and his mother has gone from strength to strength. It is great to see the star on good terms with his mother and long may that continue.
