Lamar Odom Shades His Ex-Wife Khloé Kardashian’s Upbringing
Lamar, for his part, has not hidden how much he regrets the manner in which he had treated Khloé. Not only was he unfaithful to her during the relationship, but he just so happened to have taken an overdose that almost ended his life in 2015.
And yet, he did not hold back on how much of a disappointment Khloé had been in comparison to Taraji. In an interview with Page Six, he said: “I think the difference between Taraji and Khloé is how they [were] brought up.
Their upbringing, which makes people different and [affects] the way they think. I think Taraji is more skillful in what she does as an actress compared to what Khloé does.”
Those comments are not going to go down well, given that Lamar has admitted previously how he wants to make up for the wrongs that he had done to Khloé. While that did not include getting back together with her, it did mean having the ability to have some form of communication.
So much so that Lamar spoke on how he would want to take Khloé out for dinner. In some prior remarks, he stated: “First, I would ask her how’s she doing, how her child is doing and maybe just ask her for lunch, just to be cordial. Just to be around her would be a blessing.
“I wish I could take that time back. It would be a blessing just to be in her presence. I’d tell her sorry for the fool I was.” Having said that, though, Lamar did not regret the time that he had with Khloé.
Ultimately, all relationships have good and bad points. And based on everything that had happened between them, Lamar had a more positive outlook. His following comment confirmed as much: “[Khloé is] a great wife.”
